Smart Trading Market Update Feb/Mar 2020

Markets don’t like uncertainty! The beautiful run we’ve been enjoying in the markets has taken a huge plunge very quickly with the spread of the coronavirus.

We have had many times throughout stock market history where markets have crashed. It’s easy to become complacent when the markets are running well. So, were you prepared and did you have a strategy to handle this current market drop?

Check out my latest video update and find out how I have handled the current market move and why I am now back trading short in the market.

If you have recently subscribed to my website, or for some reason you did not receive my last newsletter email, you can view the previous newsletters from this web link: http://smarttrading.com.au/news/

Market Video Update

In this market video update, we take a look at the recent market trends and how it impacted my trades.

You cannot control the markets. The only control you have is how you manage your risk and money. I spend three sessions on Risk and Money Management in my Ultimate Smart Trading Mentor Course and I cannot stress enough how important it is to have rules to protect yourself in whatever market situation there is.

I learnt my biggest lessons in the markets in September 2001 when the markets crashed after the World Trade Center attacks. Back then I didn’t have a portfolio heat rule and I had become complacent with my risk management. After that experience I turned it around and came back stronger with stricter rules so I knew I could handle whatever scenario the market has to offer.

If you want to know more about my trading systems and get inside my head so you can develop your own that will suit your lifestyle, then check out my Ultimate Smart Trading Mentor Course and take your trading to the next level.

You can also find out more about the other courses I offer from this web link http://smarttrading.com.au/wp/smart-trading-online-store.

Finally

As a trader all sorts of scenarios will be thrown at you. But you need to know how you’re going to handle them before they actually happen and have a strategy in place. We can always hope for the best but we must always be prepared for the worst.

Cheerio for now
